Great win over Huddersfield YMCA

This was the proverbial game of 2 halves. The first have started very cagey with both teams cancelling each other out. Littletown struggling to find any rhythm and not closing down as quickly as they should. At half time a very stern team talk by manager Dave Cope had the desired affect. We started the second half much brighter, closing down better and spreading the ball about much sharper. Captain, Joe Jagger, was a constant threat up front and it wasn't too long before he was on the score sheet. As the game progressed Littletown continued to dominate with Joe Jagger scoring a second after good build up play. Some scrappy defending failed to clear a ball in to the box with our visitors pulling a goal back. With the game nearly over the Huddersfield keeper was sent off for a challenge on the edge of the box. Joe Jagger then completed his hat trick with the last kick of the game.
This was a great overall performance from the team considering the indifferent first half, and Jagger's overhead goal was a corker.
